Pocket Sweeper is a mobile sweeper game with optional player profiles, achievements, and leaderboards. You can play offline without creating an account. If you create an account, we collect and store only the information needed to provide profiles, scores, account recovery, and leaderboard features.
Information we collect
Pocket Sweeper may collect or store the following information when you use account, profile, or leaderboard features:
- Account information: email address used for Firebase Authentication.
- Profile information: leaderboard name, selected avatar, achievement progress, wins, losses, games played, best times, revealed tile totals, flag totals, and no-flag win totals.
- Leaderboard information: public score entries, difficulty, time, avatar, leaderboard name, and date/category information for all-time, Daily Classic, and Daily Challenge leaderboards.
- Daily Challenge records: records that prevent repeated Daily Challenge attempts for the same difficulty and day.
- Local device data: offline progress, settings such as haptics/sounds, theme/tile choices, and local gameplay stats stored in your browser or app storage.
How we use information
We use this information to let you sign in, recover your account, submit scores, display public leaderboards, show public player profiles, track achievements, prevent repeated Daily Challenge attempts, and keep your settings/progress available on your device.
Public information
Your leaderboard name, avatar, scores, achievements, and public profile stats may be visible to other players. Your email address is not shown on public leaderboards or public profiles.
Third-party services
Pocket Sweeper uses Google Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. Firebase may process technical data needed to provide authentication, database, hosting, and security services.
Offline play and local storage
You can play Pocket Sweeper offline without creating an account. Offline/local play data may be stored on your device, including settings, progress, theme choices, tile choices, achievement progress, and local stats. Clearing browser/app storage or using the in-app developer reset may remove local data from that device.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app by opening Profile → Delete Profile. The app attempts to delete your Firebase sign-in account, username claim, public profile, local saved data, and leaderboard entries associated with your account where technically available from the app.
You can also view account and data deletion instructions here: https://minesweeper-mobile.web.app/account-deletion.html
Password reset
If you use email/password sign-in, Firebase Authentication can send password reset emails to your account email.
Children’s privacy
Pocket Sweeper is not intended to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at maloysius@gmail.com.
