Account & Data Deletion

Pocket Sweeper allows players to create an optional account for profiles, avatars, achievements, and leaderboards. Players can also play offline without creating an account.
This page explains how to delete a Pocket Sweeper account and request deletion of associated account data.
Delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is inside Pocket Sweeper:
- Open Pocket Sweeper.
- Go to Profile.
- Make sure you are signed in.
- Tap Delete Profile.
- Confirm the deletion prompt.
For security, Firebase Authentication may require you to sign out and sign back in before deleting your account. If the app asks you to reauthenticate, sign back in and try Delete Profile again.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, cannot sign in, or need help deleting your account/data, email:
Please include the email address used for your Pocket Sweeper account and your leaderboard name if you know it. Do not send your password.
What is deleted
When you delete your Pocket Sweeper account in the app, the app attempts to delete:
- Your Firebase sign-in account
- Your Pocket Sweeper user record
- Your username/leaderboard-name claim
- Your public profile
- Your own all-time leaderboard entries where available
- Your own Daily Classic score entries where available
- Your own Daily Challenge score entries where available
- Your own Daily Challenge attempt records where available
- Your local saved app data on that device
What may remain
Pocket Sweeper is built with Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. The in-app deletion process is designed to remove the account and account-associated game records that the app is allowed to delete.
If any record cannot be removed automatically because of a technical issue, permission issue, or sync issue, you can email maloysius@gmail.com for manual deletion help.
Data retention and response time
In-app deletion runs immediately when successful. Email deletion requests will be reviewed and handled as soon as reasonably possible, generally within 30 days.
